The ISTD tap syllabus is covered within our syllabus courses, where we progress through a tap level each year with an end goal of an examination. Each level develops in length, technical difficulty and artistic expectations, and has been expertly created to match the stage of physical and cognitive ability of each age group. Tap is hugely rewarding, the time invested early on to get the initial technique secure brings big rewards in the end, the range of styles within the genre are also fabulous, from musical theatre and soft shoe to commercial, urban and reggae, we simply love tap!
